We specialize in the design, prototyping, and series production of plastic and carbon fiber components, including intake manifolds, valve covers, oil pans, fuel modules, and aero parts. Our customers, from OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to high-performance and racing teams, rely on MPI to bring complex components to life, quickly and at scale. With operations in both the U.S. and Europe, we simplify logistics through local tool tryouts, part production, and project management - executed seamlessly with English or German technical support.
History
Founded in 1997, MPI was born from a spirit of questioning convention in the design and manufacture of intake manifolds. Its engineering led mindset soon expanded into full scale manufacturing of the parts it envisioned.
Founded in 2008, Performance Design set out to inspire customers through advanced product design, evolving from a pure engineering service into a manufacturer of high performance carbon composite components.
In 2017, after years of successful collaboration, MPI and Performance Design merged, becoming one company built on shared values of creativity, engineering excellence, and customer inspiration.
