· Static deflection and stress from flange bolts around compression limiters
· Burst pressure strength
· Impact strength consideration

Thermal Stress Consideration

· Thermal stress should account for the temperature differences from inside to outside of CHC

Tooling and Process Development

· Flatness along sealing surface is crucial
· Intensive consideration in mold design, cycle time and tooling to minimize warpage
· Mold flow analysis is critical to determine gating, cooling and other processing critical to dimensional stability and process efficiency
